All organizations in which employees or external consultants work (for at least 70% of their time) who have obtained the ISTQB® certification can become ISTQB® Partners.

The Partnership is applicable both at the Legal Entity and Business Unit level within a Legal Entity and must be requested from the Board that operates in the country in which the organization has its registered office. The partnership relationship is managed in all its phases by the Board of that country.

To become an ISTQB® Partner, the organization must send ITA-STQB the Application Form filled out in all its parts, providing in particular the complete list of ISTQB® certified professionals and paying the Partnership Fee. The Application Form can be downloaded from this link.

ITA-STQB, after receiving the Application Form and verifying the accuracy of the data provided, will send the potential Partner the confirmation of whether or not the Partnership has been obtained and, if so, the invoice for the Partnership Fee.

The organization must pay this fee within one month; after payment ITA-STQB will send the logo and the communication of the start of the Partnership and will proceed to publish the data of the Partner company on its website and on ISTQB® website.

The ISTQB® Partner Program is valid for one year and includes four different levels of Partnership (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Global) determined by the number of Certification Points accumulated by an organization through the ISTQB® certificates obtained by its collaborators. In particular, all ISTQB® certificates held by employees of an organization or by external consultants who work for it for at least 70% of their time contribute to obtaining the Partnership.

The Certification Points assigned vary depending on the level of the certificate, namely:

• Foundation Level - 1 Certification Point
• Advanced Level - 3 Certification Points
• Expert Level - 5 Certification Points

The Partnership levels therefore have different threshold scores:

• Silver - 5 Certification Points
• Gold - 14 Certification Points
• Platinum - 30 Certification Points
• Global - to reach this level, an organization must have at least two Gold Partnerships and one Platinum in two different countries.

In addition, for the Gold and Platinum levels, it is also necessary to have a minimum number of Advanced Certifications:

• Gold: at least 1 Advanced certificate
• Platinum: at least 3 Advanced certificates

Note: ISTQB® reserves the right to change the rules of the Partner Program with 6 months' notice.

The ISTQB® Partner Program requires the payment of a Partnership Fee that varies depending on the level of Partnership to which the organization adheres. In particular, the fee is equal to:

• Silver Level: €380 + VAT
• Gold Level: €760 + VAT
• Platinum Level: €1520 + VAT
• Global Level: requires an additional fee of €2000 + VAT.

Partnership fees are annual and must be paid both for the first membership to the program and for each subsequent renewal.

Starting from the second year, the Partner organization will receive a 30% discount on the Partnership fee.
